In the 80's and 90's the Swallowtail was a super successful tuna lure that took more than its fair share of Yellowfin and Bluefin Tuna.
They are a strange looking design, definately not a winner in the looks catergory but damn these things catch tuna!
At around 8 inches in length and rigged with 150lb Jap grade mono and a 8/0 Stainless Steel 7691 pattern hook.
Run one of these badboys past a few tuna and you'll need to be ready for the screaming ratchet!
