The 5 inch Mirror Jet is deadly on all species of tuna, but especially
Southern Bluefin when they are feeding on small bait. This lure will
also catch Bonito, Mack tuna, Yellowfin, Striped Tuna, Kingfish,
Australian Salmon and a number of other pelagics.
We often run of
these little lures in the propwash on a light rod just for fun. It's
amazing the number of tuna that will snatch this lure right from the
back of the boat.
It comes rigged with a light guage ultra sharp trolling hook. If you're chasing fish over 5kg we suggest upgrading the hook.
The
Mirror Jet has a cupped face so will hang in when the seas are rough
and can be trolled with other larger game fishing lures.
